Thank you card
in shades of pink.
This is a interlinked Card
I have cut the main card 15cm by30cm
and scored it at 21cm cm. folding back the 9cm panel
to make a cut away card
The second Card is 10 -1/2cm by 30cm and is scored on the 15 cm line to make a long C6 card, added the insert to the C6 card, before assembling the 2 cards together.
I Decorated the back inside panel. and the front main panel.
and stuck the C6 card to the back inside wall. bringing it overlapping the front panel, and adding a tag with a brad, to act as the hold.
I used a E K Success punch to add detail,
and the smaller Nestie Fleur de ly's die cut to either side
of the Daisy Company thank you topper.

The embellishments on this card
where a box set from create and craft
I tinted the doily, and encased it in 2 punched brown scalloped circles, adding a coffee coloured circle to the front layer.
made a posy of lace, and decorated it with pearl pins, feathers autumn leaves and flowers.
I Ran a strip of lace down the exposed side of the back wall, overlaying cream satin and brown organza ribbons, ( these were stuck to the back layered matt , before it was stuck inside the card.) I made a double satin and organza bow.  to stick to the bottom of the lace panel.
And coloured a vertical happy birthday peel-off,
and added a greeting and poem inside.

Welcome to Card Art
A Card Making Club, for Card Makers
I decided to start this club, as I feel most of the card makers I know are only interested in card making as their hobby,
and love the chance to get together
We meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month, because we had such a bad winter last year, we will play it by the weather,
If for some reason we don't get to meet up. I can post the kits out,
The club is open to everyone, so bring a friend,
If you would like more details please email me HERE.

If you have any card making questions please leave a comment or email me, and I will get back to you
